This paper addresses the issues of local overheating and high air conditioning energy consumption caused by the significant increase in power consumption of equipment rooms during the construction of C-RAN (centralized radio access network). A novel energy efficient cabinet rack-level cooling system is proposed, and based on the principle of energy efficiency preference, a multi-objective optimization model for air conditioning cooling is constructed. By analysing the actual data from the application of this model in a specific equipment room, it is observed that the refrigeration efficiency of the equipment room has been notably improved, and the energy consumption of air conditioning has been significantly reduced. This effectively cuts down the operational costs of the equipment room, further promotes the application and development of green and low-carbon technologies, and offers guiding significance for driving the updating and optimization of energy efficient cabinet products.
